Lymphatic Self Care

with Germin Yeo

Hi! I'm Germin and my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in Dec 2019 which led to removal of her lymph nodes near her right arm. Following that, she suffered a stroke and was hospitalised for 5 months in 2021. In that period, lymphedema developed in her right arm. Fortunately, she has now resumed activities of daily living fairly independently & manages the lymphedema through self massage.

In this hour-long sharing session, I will share some easy & effective ways to stimulate our lymph nodes regularly for a healthy lymphatic system, followed by a short movement practice. I hope to share the message that we can do a little something regularly in our self care routine to prepare us for the unforeseen challenges to our health.

At the end of this session, you can make a donation of any amount and all proceeds of this session will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore to support them in ‘Wear The Pink Ribbon’ Campaign for 2022.
