Recovery Socks your feet will thank you for.

When we think of resting and recovering after a long day of work, many of us don’t go straight to our feet. While it might seem only important for those who spend long hours on their feet, giving some attention to our feet for recovery will also benefit those who have spent most of their day sitting. It should not be a surprise that here at BodyTree Group we are advocates for feet health! Your feet carry you around daily and is often neglected; it is time to shower them with some love!

There is already a great line of Naboso products that we love, but this new Foot Recovery Sock takes it to a different level. This was created mainly because Dr Emily Splichal realised that many of us prefers wearing socks, which then created a barrier to using the textured insoles. Furthermore, some might prefer getting about their nightly routine instead of standing on the textured mat to recover! The Foot Recovery Sock, like other compression socks, promotes blood circulation, reducing muscular fatigue, discomfort, aches, or even swelling. However, what sets this apart from other socks is the addition of texture inside the sock.

Why texture in my sock?

The patent-pending texture provided by Naboso is specifically designed to penetrate the micro-vessels in the superficial layer of the foot. This helps improve circulation to the skin, nerves, muscles, and fascia. The texture also works (and feels) like a mini massage as it releases the tension in the intrinsic muscles of the feet. (Foot reflexology at home!) Lastly, something we have talked about previously is the importance of neurosensory. As we age and evolve, we get less and less stimulation to our feet and our feeling and sense of the ground, or around us, start to decline. This is how falls become more apparent in the elderly and thus at BodyTree Group, we strongly advocate Naboso’s products as they help with neurostimulation. This sock is no different, as the texture increases neurostimulation by reconnecting the nerves in the bottom of the feet. This creates a grounding and calming effect on your nervous system that you might even feel!

The Foot Recovery Socks are great for those who would like to recover their feet passively, as it doesn’t slow you down from your daily/nightly routine. They are made of a thick, soft and comfortable material, and the arch compression band provides amazing support too, giving you almost a ‘lift’. As Dr Splichal says, “Simply walk around and you are recovering your feet and lower leg.”

No matter the hours you spend on your feet, I believe this one pair of sock will be a great addition! While you might hesitate to purchase socks that cost slightly more, think about the money you’d spend on foot reflexologies and trips to the podiatrist if your feet are aching or in pain!

The Naboso Foot Recovery Socks come in both ankle length and knee length. Start with 30-60 minutes at the end of the day or after a hard workout and gradually increase usage depending on comfort. Consistent use of the Recovery Sock can bring about the much-needed release and recovery at all of our feet deserve.

Time to shower your feet with love!
